Winmate R12IAN3S-CHM2 12.1″ Chassis Panel PC with Intel N150 and Resistive Touch

Not every operator station has a cabinet door to cut into. On a machine arm, a desk or a wall bracket, a fully enclosed panel PC on a VESA mount is often the tidier choice. The R12IAN3S-CHM2 is Winmate’s 12.1 inch chassis panel PC for those installs, with a quad-core Intel N150 and a 12.1″ 1024 x 768 display at 500 nits with 1000:1 contrast and wide viewing angles. Resistive touch or plain protection glass are options, and Winmate lists machine control, factory automation and operator HMI as its uses.

Compute comes from the Intel Processor N150, a quad-core Twin Lake part at up to 3.6 GHz with 6 MB cache, matched to one DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM (8 GB standard, 16 GB optional) and a 128 GB SSD with options to 2 TB. That is usually a good fit for HMI software and dashboards. TPM 2.0 is on board, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 24.04 available.

I/O sits on the rear: two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode, and one RS-232/422/485 plus one RS-232 port on DB9 for PLCs and scanners. HDMI 2.0b is optional, as is Wi-Fi through an M.2 2230 E-key slot. The R12IE3S-CHM2 is the earlier chassis model with an Intel Celeron N6211, and the R12IAD3S-CHM2 keeps this chassis with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U.

The enclosed chassis fixes to a VESA mount, which suits arm, desk or wall installations rather than a cabinet cut-out. A 100 to 240 V AC adapter is supplied for the 12 V DC input. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with CE and FCC marks. We supply the R12IAN3S-CHM2 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
