FCCR12L100-PCM2OD Overview
Outdoor screens have to stay readable when the sun is out and keep working on cold mornings. The R12L100-PCM2OD is Winmate’s 12.1 inch PCAP touch chassis display for these sites, with a front IP65 rating, a 1000 nit panel option and options for a heater and UV film.
The 12.1 inch LCD runs at 1024 x 768 with 500 nits as standard and a 1000 nit panel as an option, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.2M colours and 178° viewing angles. Winmate describes the design as sunlight readable with its high brightness option. Projected capacitive multi-touch connects to the host over USB.
Video arrives over VGA as standard, with HDMI or DVI as options, and a 3.5 mm audio line-in and two speakers can be added. An optional UV film adds solar radiation protection for screens in direct sun, and an optional heater extends the low end of the operating range. The R10L100-PCT2OD is the 10.4 inch version with a 1000 nit panel as standard, and the R12L100-GSM2(HB) adds full IP65 sealing with M12 connectors.
Power is 12 V DC as standard, with 24 V DC as an option, and Winmate supplies a 100 to 240 V AC adapter, power cord, VGA and HDMI cables and VESA screws. The monitor operates from -10 °C to 60 °C, or -25 °C to 60 °C with the heater, and stores from -20 °C to 70 °C at 10 to 90% RH, non-condensing. It measures 296.2 x 226.7 x 45.5 mm, fixes to VESA holes, cools without a fan and carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate names industrial visualisation, control rooms and equipment monitoring as applications.
