Winmate R12L600-IPM2HB 12.1″ Front IP65 Monitor with 1000 Nit XGA Display and Resistive Touch

Machines that work outdoors or by open doors need an HMI screen that holds up in sunlight, with a front that keeps out dust and water jets. The R12L600-IPM2HB is Winmate’s 12.1 inch industrial monitor for that job: an XGA panel, with front IP65 protection against dust and low-pressure water jets in a fanless metal housing with an aluminium bezel. It connects to a separate industrial computer or controller and fits into cabinets, racks and fixtures.

The 12.1″ 1024 x 768 panel runs at 1000 nits, so it stays readable in sunlight, with 700:1 contrast and 160 degree horizontal and 140 degree vertical viewing angles. The 4:3 format matches many existing HMI and SCADA screen layouts. Resistive touch is fitted as standard, and it works with gloved fingers or a stylus. SAW touch or a plain protection glass without touch can be specified instead.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI or DVI inputs as options. Touch connects over a single USB port. Set-up is through a five-key OSD. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional, as is a remote controller. The R12L600-IPM2 is the 500 nit version with a 1000:1 panel, and the R12L600-IPM2WT is the wide temperature version, rated from -20 °C to 60 °C.

The 12.1 inch monitor is rated IP65 at the front and mounts into a panel cut-out or on VESA. It runs from 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and a 100 to 240 V AC adapter, power cord and VGA and HDMI cables are supplied. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C, and it carries CE and FCC marks.
