Winmate R15L100-67N1-NI 15″ NVIS Defence Monitor with NVIS Mode and MIL-STD-810G

Exposed crew positions get rain, spray and dust as well as night operations, so a sealed screen with an NVIS mode saves a separate cover. The R15L100-67N1-NI is Winmate’s 15 inch full IP67 NVIS defence display, with a 1024 x 768 XGA panel that switches between day mode and NVIS mode, bonded PCAP touch and M12 connectors on a sealed aluminium housing. It is designed for night-vision compatibility, and Winmate states compliance with MIL-STD-3009.

In day mode the 15″ LCD runs at 1000 nits, so it is sunlight readable, with a 2500:1 contrast ratio and 176° viewing angles. Projected capacitive multi-touch is optically bonded to the panel for clarity, with bonded true flat 5-wire resistive touch or bonded anti-reflective protection glass as options. A built-in ambient light sensor helps the display follow changing light, and an ignition on/off delay is optional.

Video arrives over VGA on an M12 connector and an HDMI input on a waterproof connector, and touch data runs over USB on another M12 connector, with RS-232 touch as an option. Waterproof external cables and caps are supplied, so the R15L100-67N1-NI keeps its IP67 rating when cabled to the host. The R19L100-67N1-NI is the 19 inch SXGA version of this IP67 NVIS display, and the W22L100-67N1-NI is the 21.5 inch full HD version.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on an M12 waterproof connector with an isolated input. Winmate tests the housing to MIL-STD-810G Method 514.6 Procedure I for vibration and Method 516.6 Procedure I for shock. It is fanless, operates from -20 °C to 60 °C and stores from -30 °C to 70 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing. It mounts on VESA holes. It carries CE and FCC marks, and we supply it configured and tested for the vehicle or console it will join.
