Winmate R15L100-VMC3-P(HB) 15″ Rugged Vehicle Mount PCAP Monitor with XGA Display and Optional 1000 Nit Panel

A monitor on a vehicle or a piece of mobile plant is fed from whatever DC supply is on board, gets knocked and shaken, and has to stay readable as the light changes through the day. The R15L100-VMC3-P(HB) is Winmate’s 15 inch G-WIN VM series display for that job: a 15″ 1024 x 768 projected capacitive touchscreen in an aluminium die-cast housing with anti-corrosion treatment, rated IP65 at the front.

The panel runs at 300 nits as standard with 2000:1 contrast, 16.2 million colours and 176 degree viewing angles, and a 1000 nit high-brightness panel for sunlight is optional. A built-in ambient light sensor and a menu key adjust brightness automatically or by hand, and a day/night mode button and a separate LED brightness button help at night. Resistive touch and anti-reflective protection glass are available under separate order codes.

Video comes in on VGA as standard, with HDMI as an option. Touch control is available over USB or an RS-232 D-sub9 port, and the VGA cable, a USB/COM touch cable and an open wire power cable are supplied. LEDs show power and status. The R15IAN3S-VMC3-P(HB) is the panel PC version of this vehicle mount design with an Intel N150 built in, and the R15IAD3S-VMC3(HB) is the version with an Intel Core i5-1235U.

Power is an isolated 9 to 36 V DC input on a three-pin terminal block, with an AC adapter as an option. The 15 inch monitor runs fanless from -10 °C to 55 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -30 °C to 70 °C and is tested to MIL-STD-810G Method 514.6 for vibration, with Method 516.6 shock testing as an option. It mounts on VESA and carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the R15L100-VMC3-P(HB) configured and tested before dispatch.
