FCCR15L600-MRA3FP Overview
Electronic chart systems run around the clock, so the display must dim for night watches, take touch input and meet the marine standards that bridge equipment is judged against. The R15L600-MRA3FP is Winmate’s 15 inch ECDIS marine display for that role: a 1024 x 768 PCAP touch monitor with an IP66 front, meeting the requirements of DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC 60945 4th edition and IACS E10.
The panel delivers 500 nits with a 2500:1 contrast ratio and 176° viewing angles in both planes on a narrow-bezel front. Projected capacitive multi-touch lets officers pan and zoom charts directly, and capacitive front keys handle power, brightness, OSD and an ECDIS function, with indicators for day, dusk and night modes.
Inputs are HDMI 1.4, DVI-D and VGA, and an RS-232 port allows remote control from the bridge system, with USB for touch. The R15L600-MRM2 is the resistive touch marine display with composite and S-Video inputs, and the R15L100-MRC3HB is a sunlight readable 15 inch marine panel mount model in the Winmate range.
Power is isolated 24 V DC on a three-pin terminal block, drawing 35 W typical; the unit accepts 9 to 36 V DC, but Winmate states that only the 24 V DC input is covered by the DNV GL approval. The R15L600-MRA3FP is fanless, operates from -15 to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, withstands 15 g shock and is vibration-rated at 0.7 g to DNVGL-CG-0339 Class A. It weighs 5 kg, fits a 338 x 288 mm cut-out or 100 x 100 mm VESA, and has an anodised aluminium bezel. Winmate names ECDIS, radar and integrated bridge systems.
