FCCR17IAD3S-RKA1ML Overview
Keyboard and trackball consoles need protection glass and EMC options on the screen more than they need touch. The R17IAD3S-RKA1ML is Winmate’s 17 inch rack mount defence panel PC for that job: a fanless 17″ unit with a 1280 x 1024 display, compliant with MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G.
The Intel Core i5-1235U has 10 cores and 12 threads at up to 4.4 GHz with Intel Iris Xe graphics, for console software and operator displays without a fan. Memory is 8 GB of DDR5 with 16 GB and 32 GB options, storage is 256 GB with options up to 2 TB, TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be installed. The 1280 x 1024 panel gives 350 nits with 1000:1 contrast, with AR protection glass as standard and 5-wire resistive touch, an EMI mesh filter or EMI glass as options. A six-key OSD pad covers power, brightness and day or night modes, and a light sensor can set brightness automatically.
Rear I/O covers two Ethernet ports on Intel controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port set to RS-232 by default, an optional second RS-232 port and an optional HDMI output. The R17L100-RKA1ML is the 17 inch defence monitor in this style for racks where the computer sits elsewhere, and the R17IAD3S-MLA1-89 is the 17 inch model with an Intel Core i7-1265UE and its I/O on MIL-DTL-38999/3 connectors.
Power is 100 to 240 V AC on a MIL-DTL-38999/1 connector, with an optional isolated 9 to 36 V DC input. The R17IAD3S-RKA1ML runs from -20 to 60 °C and stores from -30 to 70 °C at 10 to 95% humidity. Winmate lists compliance with MIL-STD-810H for vibration, humidity and transit drop, and MIL-STD-461G for CE101, CE102, RE101, RE102 and CS118, with TEMPEST and NATO STANAG options and CE and FCC marks. The anti-corrosion metal housing with an aluminium bezel is designed for rack mounting, with VESA or panel mounting also listed. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
