Winmate R17IT3S-PMM1 17″ Panel Mount PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and 1280 x 1024 SXGA Display

A 17 inch screen at 1280 x 1024 gives an operator room for detailed process pages, trends and alarm lists, and in a dry control cabinet the main requirements are fanless running and solid I/O. The R17IT3S-PMM1 is Winmate’s 17 inch panel mount PC for those installs, with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 and a 350 nit 1280 x 1024 SXGA display with 1000:1 contrast and 170 by 160 degree viewing angles.

The Intel Core i5-1135G7 runs at up to 4.2 GHz, with an i5-1145G7 as an option, and sits alongside one DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM socket fitted with 4 GB and options to 32 GB. Storage is a 128 GB SSD on an M.2 M-key socket that takes a 2242 SATA or 2280 NVMe drive, with NVMe options up to 4 TB and an optional SATA III drive up to 2 TB. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied. Resistive touch is an option, as is protection glass without touch.

I/O sits on the rear: two Gigabit LAN ports on Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, an optional HDMI 2.0 output for a second screen and two speakers. An M.2 2230 E-key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module, with Bluetooth also available. Where the front will be splashed, the R17IT3S-IPM1 adds a front IP65 rating to the same design, and the R19IT3S-PMA1 is the 19 inch panel mount model in the same line.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm jack, and a 100 to 240 V AC 120 W adapter is supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, which suits indoor control cabinets and machine enclosures. It measures 440 x 360 x 80 mm, needs a 394 x 314 mm cut-out and weighs 5.9 kg; mounting clips are supplied for panel mounting, with VESA and open frame mounting also supported. No IP rating is stated for this model. It carries CE and FCC marks.
