FCCR17L100-POM1 Overview
Kiosk and machine builders usually want the screen to disappear into their own enclosure rather than bring its own housing. The R17L100-POM1 is Winmate’s 17 inch open frame touch monitor, with projected capacitive multi-touch on a 1280 x 1024 panel in a fanless metal frame.
The 5:4 SXGA panel delivers 350 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.2 million colours and 170 degree horizontal and 160 degree vertical viewing angles. PCAP multi-touch connects over USB and responds to light finger input, which suits kiosk menus and HMI screens designed for tap and swipe gestures. The active area measures 337.9 x 270.3 mm, which gives HMI layouts more height than a 4:3 panel of the same width.
VGA is the standard video input, with HDMI or DVI as options, and a 3.5 mm audio line-in and two speakers can be added. A five-key OSD sits on the rear frame. For a larger picture the R19L100-POM1 is the 19 inch open frame, and the R15L100-POC3-C moves to 15 inches with a single USB Type-C connection for video, touch and power.
The metal open frame measures 407 x 338 x 50 mm, weighs about 4.4 kg and mounts on 75 x 75 or 100 x 100 mm VESA or through panel mounting. It runs from 12 V DC with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter, VGA cable and HDMI cable supplied. It is fanless, operates from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% non-condensing humidity, stores from -10 to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate names industrial visualisation, control rooms and equipment monitoring as typical uses.
