Winmate R17L100-PPM1 17″ PCAP Panel Mount Monitor with SXGA LCD and 350 Nits

On an automation panel or a kiosk front, the display usually has to fit a cut-out, cope with splashes at the front and connect to a separate industrial PC or controller. The R17L100-PPM1 is Winmate’s 17 inch panel mount touch monitor for that installation: a 17″ 1280 x 1024 SXGA projected capacitive touchscreen in a metal housing with an aluminium bezel, sealed to IP65 at the front.

The 1280 x 1024 panel runs at 350 nits with 1000:1 contrast and 170 degree horizontal and 160 degree vertical viewing angles. The 5:4 format suits existing HMI layouts drawn for SXGA screens, so older projects can move across without redrawing. Projected capacitive multi-touch reports to the host computer over USB, so swipe and pinch gestures work through the glass.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI as options, and a single USB port carries touch back to the computer. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu for brightness and input settings. Within the Winmate range, the R17IT3S-PPM1 is the panel PC version of this housing with an Intel Core i5-1135G7, and the R17IP7T-PPM1 uses an Intel Pentium N4200.

Power is 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and the monitor comes with VGA and HDMI cables, a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and a power cord. The 17 inch monitor runs fanless from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It fits a panel cut-out or a VESA mount.
