Winmate R17L500-65M1 17″ IP65 Stainless Steel Monitor with M12 Connectors and Resistive Touch

Operator screens on food processing and other hygiene-sensitive lines are cleaned often, and the rear connectors are usually where water finds its way in. The R17L500-65M1 is Winmate’s 17″ stainless steel chassis display built around that problem: a 17 inch panel in a SUS 316 (AISI 316) housing, sealed to full IP65, with every connection made through M12 waterproof connectors.

The panel is a 5:4 1280 x 1024 SXGA display at 350 nits with 1000:1 contrast and 16.2 million colours, a common format for HMI software laid out for square-ish screens. Resistive touch is an option, which works with gloved hands, and protection glass without touch is the alternative where touch is not needed. Optical bonding is listed as an option for clearer viewing.

The monitor connects to a separate computer over VGA on an M12 connector as standard, with a waterproof DVI input and a waterproof HDMI input as options. When touch is fitted, it reports to the host over an M12 USB connector or an M12 RS-232 connector. The R17IE3S-65M1 is the panel PC version of this 17 inch stainless design with an Intel Celeron N6211 built in, and the R17L500-CHM1 is a 17 inch chassis monitor with resistive touch and the same SXGA resolution.

Power is 12 V DC on an M12 connector, and Winmate supplies a 100 to 240 V AC adapter with a waterproof connector, a power cord, an external VGA cable, waterproof caps and VESA screws. The R17L500-65M1 is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 45 °C, stores from -20 °C to 60 °C, mounts on VESA with a yoke mount stand as an option, and carries CE and FCC marks. We supply it configured and tested before dispatch.
