Some builds need a screen with no touch at all, others need a pressure touch that works through gloves, and it helps when one frame covers both. The W10L100-OFH2 is Winmate’s 10.1 inch open frame monitor for that choice: a 1280 x 800 LCD in a fanless open metal frame, with resistive touch or plain protection glass available as options.
The WXGA panel runs at 350 nits with an 800:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colours and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and vertically. Resistive touch responds to pressure, so it works with gloved fingers and a stylus, and it connects over USB. Without touch, the protection glass option shields the panel where the screen is display only.
Video comes in on a VGA input, with HDMI or DVI as factory options, and a 3.5 mm line-in and two speakers can be added. A five-key on-screen display menu sits on the rear. Where PCAP multi-touch is wanted, the W10L100-POH2 is the 10.1 inch open frame with projected capacitive touch as standard, and the W12L100-OFM9 takes the optional-touch approach to 12.1 inches.
The W10L100-OFH2 runs on 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied, and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 237 x 174 x 35 mm and fixes by rear mounting or 75 x 75 mm VESA holes, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
