Routing separate video, touch and power leads to a built-in screen adds connectors, space and failure points. The W10L100-POH2-C is Winmate’s 10.1 inch open frame touch monitor built around one USB Type-C connection: a 1280 x 800 LCD with projected capacitive multi-touch in a fanless open metal frame, with no separate video input or DC supply.
The WXGA panel runs at 350 nits with an 800:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colours and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and vertically. The PCAP touch screen supports multi-touch gestures, and an anti-glare coating is available as an option, which suits kiosk and control software designed for tap and swipe.
The only connector is a USB Type-C port working in Alt mode, and the monitor draws its power from the same port at 5 V and 3 A. Winmate offers standard, lockable and waterproof USB-C cables as options, plus two speakers. Where the host has VGA rather than USB Type-C, the W10L100-POH2 is the equivalent frame, and the W07L100-POT1-C brings the same single-cable design to 7 inches.
The W10L100-POH2-C operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 262.3 x 188 x 37 mm and fixes by 75 x 75 mm VESA holes or panel mounting brackets, with a five-key on-screen display menu on the rear. The monitor carries CE and FCC marks. Because the monitor takes its power from the host, the host port must supply 5 V at 3 A, and no separate adapter is needed at the screen.
