Winmate W12L100-OFB1 12.3″ Open Frame Monitor with 1000 Nit 1920 x 720 Display and 1000:1 Contrast

Kiosk makers and machine builders often want the display without a finished bezel, so it sits behind a front panel they have designed themselves. The W12L100-OFB1 is Winmate’s 12.3 inch open frame monitor for that job, with a 12.3″ 1920 x 720 panel at 1000 nits, which is sunlight readable, and protection glass. It connects to a separate computer over VGA, with HDMI or DVI as options.

The 12.3″ 1920 x 720 panel runs at 1000 nits with 1000:1 contrast, 16.7 million colours and 176 degree viewing angles in both directions, so the picture typically stays readable in direct light. The panel sits behind protection glass with no touchscreen, which suits status and information screens that show data rather than take input.

Video comes in on VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI inputs as options, so the W12L100-OFB1 pairs with most industrial PCs and box PCs. An audio line in and two speakers are optional, and five keys (power, plus, minus, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu. VGA and HDMI cables and a manual come in the box. Power is 12 V DC in, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and an AC adapter and power cord are supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 to 50 °C and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C, at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, which suits indoor cabinets and control rooms.
