Winmate W15IT3S-IPA2 15.6″ Widescreen Front IP65 Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7

A widescreen HMI makes good use of a shallow cabinet door or console, and where that door sits in a wet or dusty area the front must be sealed. The W15IT3S-IPA2 is Winmate’s 15.6 inch front IP65 panel PC: a fanless metal-housed computer with a 16:9 display that fits a 368.3 x 232 mm cut-out, with open frame and VESA mounting also supported.

It runs an Intel Core i5-1135G7 at 2.4 GHz up to 4.2 GHz, with the Intel Core i5-1145G7 at up to 4.4 GHz as an option. One DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM holds 4 GB as standard with 8, 16 or 32 GB options, and storage is one M.2 slot for a 2242 SATA or 2280 NVMe SSD from 128 GB, with NVMe options to 4 TB and an optional SATA III drive up to 2 TB. The 1366 x 768 display is rated at 400 nits with a 500:1 contrast ratio and 170° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angles. Resistive touch or plain protection glass can be specified. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise SAC, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied.

The I/O comprises two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port, two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers and an optional HDMI 2.0 output, with two speakers built in. An M.2 E-key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module, and TPM 2.0 is on board. The W15IT3S-PMA2 is the same computer and cut-out without the IP65 front, and the W22IT3S-IPA3 is the 21.5 inch front IP65 model with a 1920 x 1080 screen.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm DC jack, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 120 W supplied. The W15IT3S-IPA2 operates from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity non-condensing, stores from -10 to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 400 x 280 x 74.5 mm, weighs 3.9 kg and ships with mounting clips and VESA screws.
