FCCW15L100-OFA2 Overview
A 15.6 inch widescreen gives kiosks and machine panels room for menus and status side by side, and builders want the frame to accept whichever touch the job needs. The W15L100-OFA2 is Winmate’s 15.6 inch open frame monitor for that: a 1366 x 768 LCD in an open metal frame, with resistive touch, surface acoustic wave touch or protection glass as options.
The panel runs at 400 nits with a 500:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colours and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically. Resistive touch works by pressure, so it responds to gloved fingers and a stylus, and SAW touch is offered as the alternative, with either option connecting over USB. Without touch, the protection glass option shields the panel. The active area measures 344.232 x 195.536 mm.
Video comes in on a VGA input, and HDMI or DVI can be specified as options, along with a 3.5 mm audio line-in and two speakers. A five-key on-screen display menu sits on the rear. For brighter sites the W15L100-OFA2HB is the 1300 nit version of this frame, and the W18L100-OFA2 takes the design to 18.5 inches.
The W15L100-OFA2 runs on 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied, and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -10 °C to 60 °C. Winmate’s drawing shows a frame of 366.3 x 248 x 40 mm with 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm VESA holes, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
