Winmate W24IAD3S-MRA2FP 23.8″ ECDIS Marine Panel PC with Intel Raptor Lake Core i5-1335U and 9 to 36V DC

A large bridge display lets an officer keep the chart, radar overlay and conning information on one screen, readable from across the console. The W24IAD3S-MRA2FP is Winmate’s 23.8 inch flat PCAP ECDIS marine panel PC for bridge systems, shipboard automation and offshore operations: a fanless unit with an anodised aluminium bezel, rated IP66 at the front, around a 23.8″ 1920 x 1080 display at 250 nits with 3000:1 contrast.

The default processor is a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U at up to 4.6 GHz, with an Intel Core 5 120U at up to 5 GHz as an option. Memory is 8 GB as standard with 16 GB or 32 GB options, and storage runs from 128 GB to 2 TB. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied, though Ubuntu does not support wake on touch. That leaves headroom for ECDIS and other bridge software.

I/O includes two Gigabit LAN ports on RJ45 with Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 ports and one USB 2.0 port and one RS-232/422/485 port on DB9, with a second RS-232 port as an option. A 2.5″ removable SSD or HDD bay is optional. HDMI, eight-channel isolated DIDO and four NMEA 0183 ports are optional. Front capacitive keys cover power, brightness, menu and a function key set to ECDIS mode, with day, dusk and night indicators. The W24IAD3S-65A2 is a 23.8 inch full IP65 stainless steel panel PC with M12 connectors, and the W24IAD3S-SPA2 is a 23.8 inch stainless steel panel PC for hygienic areas.

Power is 24 V DC with isolation, with 9 to 36 V DC also accepted, and an AC to DC adapter is supplied. Winmate lists DNV-CG-0339, IEC 60945 4th edition and IACS E10 under certification, and notes that only the 24 V DC input is approved under the DNV certification. Colour calibration for ECDIS compliance is optional. The unit operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity and panel or VESA mounts.
