Winmate W24IT3S-MRA1 24″ Marine Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and Front IP66 FHD Screen

On a ship’s bridge the computer has to sit flush in the console, run from vessel DC power, dim right down for night watches and cope with the vibration of a working vessel. The W24IT3S-MRA1 is Winmate’s 24 inch marine panel PC: a fanless unit with a powder-coated aluminium bezel rated IP66 on the front side, which Winmate states is built and tested according to DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC 60945 and IACS E10.

It runs an Intel Core i5-1135G7 at 2.4 GHz up to 4.2 GHz, with the Intel Core i7-1165G7 at up to 4.7 GHz as an option. Memory is 4 GB as standard with options to 32 GB, and storage starts at 128 GB with options up to 4 TB. The 1920 x 1080 display is rated at 300 nits with a 5000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles, and a dimming knob takes the backlight from nearly 0% to 100%. Resistive touch is standard and AR glass is an option. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise is the standard image, with Windows 11 Pro and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise options.

The I/O comprises two USB 3.0 ports, one RS-232 port with four RS-232 or four isolated RS-422/485 ports as an option, two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers, an optional HDMI output and two speakers. The W24IT3S-IPA2 is the 23.8 inch front IP65 panel PC for shore-side industrial use, and the W24L100-MRA1 is the 24 inch marine display for consoles where the computer sits elsewhere.

Power input is 9 to 36 V DC with 70 W typical consumption, and a 12 V 84 W AC adapter is supplied. The W24IT3S-MRA1 operates from -15 to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, is rated for 15 G shock and 0.7 g vibration to DNV-CG-0339 Class A, and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 593 x 384 x 68.5 mm, weighs 10.3 kg and fits a 566 x 362 mm cut-out, with VESA mounting as an alternative.
