Operators in a command post often need to read fine map detail at a glance, on a screen that will not pick up reflections from overhead lights and does not need touch. The W32L100-MLA1FG is Winmate’s 31.5 inch rack mount defence monitor: a fanless 3840 x 2160 display behind AR protection glass in a metal enclosure.
The 16:9 panel runs at 3840 x 2160 with 350 nits brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178° viewing angles and 1.07 billion colours, which gives four times the pixels of a 1920 x 1080 screen at the same size. That density suits satellite imagery and layered tactical maps viewed from a console seat. AR protection glass is standard, and EMI ITO glass is an option where the installation needs extra shielding against emissions.
Video inputs are VGA, DVI and DisplayPort 1.2 as standard, with two HDMI 2.0 inputs as options, plus an optional RS-232 port for remote control and an optional audio line in. The W32L100-MLA1FP is the PCAP touch version of this 3840 x 2160 monitor, and the W32L100-RKA3ML gives a 32 inch 1920 x 1080 protective glass model with a light sensor.
Power is 100 to 240 V AC universal, with 9 to 36 V DC as an option for vehicle and shelter supplies. Winmate lists compliance with MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G and CE and FCC marks. The monitor measures 825 x 486 x 88.3 mm, runs fanless from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 95% humidity and mounts in a rack or on a VESA arm.
