Winmate W50L100-POCV 50″ Curved PCAP Touch Monitor with 4K UHD LCD and 425 Nits

Operators who watch a process or a control system for a full shift need a large screen they can read edge to edge without turning their heads. The W50L100-POCV is Winmate’s 50 inch curved touch monitor for that kind of desk: a 50″ 3840 x 2160 display with an R1500 curve and projected capacitive multi-touch, built for industrial and control applications where the computer sits elsewhere.

The 4K UHD panel runs at 425 nits with 4000:1 contrast, 10-bit colour and 178 degree viewing angles. The curve brings the outer edges of a 50 inch screen closer to the viewer, which Winmate says improves comfort during long working hours, and the resolution leaves room for dense dashboards, drawings or several application windows side by side. Touch reports to the host computer over USB, so the same screen can be used for operator input as well as viewing.

Video comes in over two DisplayPort inputs, one HDMI and one DVI, which can let a single display take feeds from more than one computer. Seven keys (power, menu, up, down, left, right and exit) run the on-screen menu for input selection and picture settings. Within the Winmate range, the W43L100-PCA3 is the 43 inch flat full HD chassis monitor with front IP65, and the W32L100-PTA1-4K is the 32 inch 4K UHD model with DisplayPort and HDMI inputs.

Power is 24 V DC, and the monitor comes with a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter, a power cord and USB, HDMI, DP and DVI cables. The 50 inch monitor runs fanless in a metal housing from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It fits a VESA mount, so it can go on a wall bracket, a desk stand or an arm.
