A command team briefing around one screen needs a picture large enough to read from the back of the room and sharp enough to show fine map detail up close. The W55L100-MLA1FP is Winmate’s 55 inch rack mount defence monitor with PCAP multi-touch: a fanless 3840 x 2160 display with a defence-grade power connector.
The 16:9 panel runs at 3840 x 2160 with 500 nits brightness, a 4000:1 contrast ratio, 178° viewing angles and 1.07 billion colours. Projected capacitive multi-touch connects over USB, and a build with ITO film is an option. Five capacitive keys on the bezel handle power, brightness, OSD and escape.
Video inputs are VGA, DVI and DisplayPort 1.2 as standard, with HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 as options, plus an optional RS-232 port for remote control and an optional audio line in, and USB carries the touch signal. The W43L100-MLA2FP is the 42.5 inch version of this monitor, and the W32L100-MLA1FP gives the same 3840 x 2160 resolution with PCAP touch at 32 inches.
Power is 100 to 240 V AC universal on a MIL-DTL-38999/1 defence-grade connector, with 9 to 36 V DC as an ordering option for vehicle and shelter supplies. Winmate lists compliance with MIL-STD-810G methods for vibration (514.6), humidity (507.4) and transit drop (516.5) and with MIL-STD-461 emissions and susceptibility tests including RE101/RE102, CE101/CE102 and RS101/RS103. The monitor measures 1320 x 825 x 85 mm, runs fanless from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 95% humidity and carries CE and FCC marks. It mounts in a rack on its handles or on VESA 400 x 400 and 200 x 200 holes and fits a 1280 x 805 mm cut-out on Winmate’s drawing.
