EDG6N0-S T5X NVR Overview
Video analytics sites usually need three things in one place: power for the cameras, decode and AI for every stream, and drives to keep the footage. The EDG6N0-S T5X NVR from Yuan is an AI NVR that brings those together on the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 or T4000 module, with eight PoE camera ports and two SATA drive bays.
The T5000 gives up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS from a 14-core Neoverse-V3AE CPU and 2560-core Blackwell GPU with 128GB LPDDR5X, and can decode up to ten 4K60 or 40 1080p60 H.265 streams; the T4000 gives 1200 FP4 TFLOPS with 64GB and about half the decode. Eight GbE RJ45 camera ports supply IEEE 802.3af PoE at 15W each. Uplinks are one QSFP28 cage, at 100Gbps on T5000 or 75Gbps on T4000, and one 5GbE port.
The operating system runs from an M.2 NVMe slot at PCIe Gen4 x2, while two SATA hard drives hold recorded video. M.2 E and B key slots cover wireless and cellular, and there are four USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A and two Type-C ports, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs at up to 4K60, and line in and out. A CPU fan and four system fans handle cooling. Yuan’s QCAP SDK and optional Xtreamer software cover RTSP, RTMP, HLS, SRT, TS and WebRTC streaming, with NDI-HX and Full NDI needing a separate licence. The EDG6N0-S T5X drops the PoE ports for 16 MIPI lanes and a PCIe Gen5 x4 gold finger, and the EDG6N0-C-W ONX 4TVI DIO takes four analogue TVI cameras.
The EDG6N0-S T5X NVR runs Ubuntu 24.04.2 with JetPack 7.0.0, takes 20 to 57V DC, operates from 0 to 35°C with airflow and carries CE and FCC marks. We supply it configured and tested, with the Jetson module, NVMe storage and JetPack image fitted before it ships.
