Encoding a camera or vision mixer output for IPTV is easier when the signal can still be watched locally. The Yuan SC6E0N1 AIO Lite is an SDI and HDMI IPTV encoder that streams one channel at up to 1080p60 while looping both inputs straight out again, so a monitor or recorder further down the chain keeps its feed.
Inputs are one SDI and one HDMI, with an analogue audio jack in and out. Outputs are an HDMI 2.0 programme output that can run at 3840×2160 at 60fps, plus HDMI and SDI loop-throughs. Input resolutions run from 1080p60 down to 480i and 576i, including PC modes. The SC6E0N1 AIO Lite encodes H.264 at Baseline, Main or High profile with AAC audio, and streams RTSP, RTMP, HLS, TS over UDP and SRT, with NDI HX and Dante AV-H as optional licensed protocols.
Recording uses hardware compression in real-time mode to MP4, TS or MOV on a USB 3.0 drive, and two USB 2.0 ports take a keyboard and mouse beside the web interface. It runs from a 12V DC input. The SC6E0N1 AIO adds DVI-I and analogue inputs for older sources, and the SC6F0N1 12G-SDI+ is the choice for a 12G-SDI feed at 4K60.
The 4K programme output means a local 4K display can show the output even though encoding stays at 1080p60, which suits a confidence monitor at the desk. Plan where each loop-through output goes, because that keeps the local monitoring path simple.
