M.2SC710N1 M2 SDVoE-C Overview
Control rooms, venues and simulators that distribute video over SDVoE often need a small computer to record or process one of the streams. The SC710N1 M2 SDVoE-C is Yuan’s M.2 SDVoE frame grabber, taking SDVoE video from a 10G copper network link into a compact host through its M.2 socket.
The card captures up to 4096 x 2160 and 3840 x 2160 at 60, 50, 30, 25 and 24 fps, 2560 x 1440 at 144 fps and 1920 x 1080 at up to 240 fps, down to 576i. Capture formats are 8-bit RGB24, RGB32, YUY2, YV12 and NV12, and SDVoE embedded stereo audio comes in with the video at 16-bit, 32 to 48 kHz.
It is a two-board design: an M.2 Type M card on a PCIe x4 link, cable-linked to a separate SDVoE decoder board carrying the 10G RJ45 port, a heatsink and fan, with a USB power cable. The decoder board also provides an HDMI 2.0 loop-through output. Yuan provides a Windows and Linux SDK for DirectShow and V4L2 applications. The SC710N1-L SDVoE-C is the PCIe card version, and the SC720N4 SDVoE-C captures four SDVoE streams on one PCIe card.
Yuan lists Windows, Linux 2.6.14 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit, and Linux ARM on NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. We supply it tested in the host computer it goes into, with drivers installed and capture checked on the inputs you plan to use. We also plan where the decoder board mounts inside the chassis. The SC710N1 M2 SDVoE-C suits AV-over-IP recording, monitoring and processing in compact systems.
