SKY-QUAD-2000B-16 Overview

Plenty of professional graphics and AI work needs a current-generation GPU with error-corrected memory but not a large power budget. The SKY-QUAD-2000B-16 is the NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell from Advantech, a low-profile professional graphics card with 16 GB of GDDR7 and ECC at a 70 W maximum. Advantech positions the RTX PRO 2000 as entry-level professional performance for AI, design and visualisation.

The Blackwell GPU has 4,352 CUDA cores, 136 fifth-generation Tensor Cores with FP4 acceleration and 34 RT Cores, with single-precision performance rated at 17 TFLOPS. Memory runs on a 128-bit interface at 288 GB/s. Family features include DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation, ninth-generation NVENC and sixth-generation NVDEC engines for video encoding and decoding, and NVIDIA Mosaic for driving several screens as one desktop. That mix suits CAD, inspection displays, light inference and video work.

The SKY-QUAD-2000B-16 runs PCI Express 5.0 x8 on a full-length PCIe edge connector, so it needs a x16 mechanical slot. Four Mini DisplayPort 2.1b outputs drive four 3840 x 2160 displays at 165 Hz or two 7680 x 4320 displays at 100 Hz. It supports DirectX 12, Shader Model 6.6, OpenGL 4.6 and Vulkan 1.3, with CUDA 12.8, OpenCL 3.0 and DirectCompute. The datasheet lists no power connector, so the card runs within its 70 W maximum without an auxiliary cable. It is dual slot and low profile, with an active blower and a low-profile bracket.

We supply each card tested, and we fit, configure and burn-in test the SKY-QUAD-2000B-16 in the compact and industrial GPU computers we build. The SKY-QUAD-4000SB-24 is the next low-profile step, with 24 GB and 8,960 CUDA cores at the same 70 W, and the SKY-QUAD-2000A-16 is the Ada generation RTX 2000 on PCIe 4.0.
