Antaira GNP-1600 16-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switches with 16x PoE+ (300W) and Extended Temperature Options

Larger camera and access control schemes often bring 16 powered devices back to one cabinet, and at that size the PoE budget, a second power feed and an alarm contact all start to matter. The Antaira GNP-1600 series covers that with unmanaged industrial PoE switches that pass traffic as soon as they are powered: 16 Fast Ethernet RJ45 ports in a slim IP50 aluminium housing for a DIN rail or a wall, with nothing to configure on site.

All of its 16 10/100Base-T(X) RJ45 ports are IEEE 802.3af/at PSE ports supplying up to 30 W each. The total PoE budget is 300 W with a 56 V DC input, shared across the ports, so it sets how many 30 W devices run together. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward, on a 3.2 Gbps switching fabric and a 4K MAC address table, with IEEE 802.3x flow control and 16 KB jumbo frames. There is nothing to set up. Power arrives on dual redundant 48 to 56 V DC inputs through a removable 6-pin terminal block, so a second supply can take over if the first fails. An alarm relay contact rated 1 A at 24 V DC flags a lost feed to a PLC or alarm panel. Reverse polarity and overload current protection are built in, and each switch draws 5.04 W at full load without PoE. ESD protection reaches 6 kV contact and 8 kV air, with EFT and surge to 2 kV.

The series has two builds that differ only in temperature rating. The GNP-1600 is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for indoor panels and heated cabinets. The GNP-1600-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures, roadside cabinets and camera poles. Both share the same ports, switching, power input and approvals, so a scheme can mix them by location. For the same port count without PoE, the GNX-1600 series series runs from a wide 12 to 56 V DC input.

Antaira names industrial automation, IP surveillance, traffic monitoring, security, transportation and telecom among the applications for the GNP-1600 series. Both models are tested for shock, vibration and free fall to EN 60068-2-27, EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-31, store from -40 °C to 85 °C and tolerate 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity. They comply with UL 62368-1 (MET), carry LVD, CE and FCC Class A marks, are listed by Antaira as TAA and NDAA compliant and come with Antaira’s 5-year warranty.
