Antaira LMP-0602-24-V2 6-Port Fast Ethernet Managed Industrial Switches with 4x PoE+ (120W), 2x 100FX SC Multi-mode Fibre, 12-55V DC Input and Extended Temperature Options

A fibre ring node in a low-voltage cabinet has to work from whatever DC supply is there, often 12 V or 24 V, and still power its cameras. The Antaira LMP-0602-24-V2 series handles that with two 100Base-FX multi-mode SC fibre ports, four PoE+ ports and Layer 2+ management, all running from 12 V to 55 V DC.

Every LMP-0602-24-V2 switch shares the same design. Each switch has four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port and two 100Base-FX multi-mode SC fibre ports, up to 2 km, on a 1.2 Gbps store-and-forward fabric with an 8K MAC table. Management is Layer 2+, with IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, QoS, IGMP v1/v2/v3 multicast filtering, LACP and SNMP v1/v2c/v3, plus static routes and DHCP Option 82. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, STP, RSTP and MSTP are supported, and Modbus TCP lets a SCADA system monitor each switch. Set-up is by web console, Telnet or CLI, with HTTPS, SSH and IEEE 802.1X for secure access. Power arrives on 12 V to 55 V DC redundant inputs through a removable 6-pin terminal block; the PoE budget depends on input voltage, with 120 W available from 24 V to 55 V DC and 90 W at 12 V DC, with reverse polarity, overload current, EFT and ESD protection and a 24 V DC, 1 A relay contact to flag a power loss or fault.

Two temperature builds share the design. The LMP-0602-M-24-V2 is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated cabinets. The LMP-0602-M-24-T-V2 is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures. Both use SC connectors and reach up to 2 km on multi-mode fibre. Where a 48 V supply is available, or ST connectors are needed, the LMP-0602-V2 series is the matching range.

Antaira names power and utility, water and wastewater, oil, gas and mining, factory automation, security surveillance and ITS among the applications for the LMP-0602-24-V2 series. Standard builds run from -10 °C to 70 °C and -T builds from -40 °C to 75 °C, so the same switch can serve an indoor panel and an unheated roadside or utility enclosure. Every model has an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail or wall mounting, is designed to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration, and Antaira lists FCC, CE and UL 61010-1 certifications with RoHS compliance.
