Antaira LMP-0800G-24 8-Port Gigabit Managed DIN Rail Ethernet Switches with 8x PoE+ (240W), 12-55V DC Input and Extended Temperature Options

Mobile PoE applications and other low-voltage power sources, as Antaira describes them, often offer only 12 V or 24 V DC. The Antaira LMP-0800G-24 series has a built-in voltage booster that gives full 48 V DC PoE from that supply, feeding eight gigabit PoE+ ports with Layer 2 management and ring redundancy in a DIN-rail case.

Every LMP-0800G-24 switch shares the same design. Each switch has eight 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 ports, all IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port, on a 16 Gbps store-and-forward fabric with an 8K MAC table. Management is Layer 2 with IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, IEEE 802.1p QoS, IGMP v1/v2 multicast filtering, LACP, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON and DHCP Option 66/67/82. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, alongside STP, RSTP and MSTP, and Modbus TCP supports SCADA monitoring. Set-up is by web console, Telnet or CLI, with IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS and SSH/SSL for secure access. A PoE Ping Alarm can power-cycle unresponsive PoE devices, and a USB 2.0 port backs up the configuration. Power arrives on 12 V to 55 V DC redundant inputs through a removable 6-pin terminal block. A built-in voltage booster gives full 48 V DC PoE from low-voltage supplies, and the budget depends on input voltage: 90 W at 12 V, 180 W at 24 V and 240 W from 48 V. Overload current, reverse polarity, EFT and ESD protection are built in, and exceptions can trigger an e-mail alert or the relay output.

Two temperature builds share the design. The LMP-0800G-24 is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated cabinets. The LMP-0800G-24-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures. Where the cabinet already has a 48 V supply, the LMP-0800G series is the matching range.

Standard builds run from -10 °C to 70 °C and -T builds from -40 °C to 75 °C, so the same switch can serve an indoor panel and an unheated roadside or utility enclosure. Every model has an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail or optional wall mounting, is designed to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration, and Antaira lists FCC, CE and UL 61010-1 certifications with RoHS compliance.
