Antaira LMP-2012G-SFP 20-Port Gigabit Managed Industrial Network Switches with 8x PoE+ (240W), 12x SFP and Extended Temperature Options

On a spread-out site, the cabinet at the centre often terminates fibre from a dozen outlying points while powering only a few cameras or controllers of its own. The Antaira LMP-2012G-SFP series is built around that pattern: a 20-port Light Layer 3 managed industrial PoE+ switch with twelve fibre slots and eight powered copper ports on one DIN rail.

Every LMP-2012G-SFP has twelve 100/1000 SFP slots for single-mode or multi-mode modules, so the fibre type and reach follow the transceiver chosen for each link. Eight 10/100/1000 RJ45 ports support IEEE 802.3at/af PoE+ at up to 30 W each, and the 240 W budget covers all eight at full power. Store-and-forward switching runs on a 40 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC table and 9.6K jumbo frames. The firmware covers 802.1Q VLANs, QoS, IGMP v1/v2/v3, LACP and Modbus TCP, adds static routes and DHCP Option 82, and uses ITU-T G.8032 ERPS to restore the ring in under 50 ms, with 802.1X, SNMPv3, HTTPS and SSH for security.

The series comes in two temperature grades. The LMP-2012G-SFP is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 65 °C for heated or indoor cabinets. The LMP-2012G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures. Within the Antaira range, the LMP-2004G-SFP series reverses the balance with 16 PoE+ ports and four SFP slots, and the LMX-2012G-SFP series keeps the twelve fibre slots without PoE.

Power comes in on redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs on removable terminal blocks, with slow-blow fuse overload protection and reverse polarity protection, the switch draws 19 W, and a relay output reports exceptions. An RS232 console and USB configuration backup speed up unit swaps. Both LMP-2012G-SFP models run fanless in an IP30 metal case for DIN-rail or wall mounting and carry Antaira’s 5-year warranty. Antaira lists FCC, CE, UL 61010-1 and NEMA TS2 approvals and names power and utility, water treatment, oil and gas, factory automation, ITS and security surveillance as target networks, where the series suits fibre aggregation cabinets that gather links from outlying points and power a few local devices such as cameras or controllers.
