Antaira LNP-0500G-24-T 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged PoE Switch with 4x PoE+, 12-36V DC Input and -40 to 75 °C

A 24 V DC control cabinet is common on factory and utility sites, but PoE devices expect around 48 V on the cable. The LNP-0500G-24-T is the extended temperature model in the Antaira LNP-0500G-24 series: a five-port Gigabit industrial unmanaged PoE switch that takes a 12 to 36 V DC supply and steps it up with a built-in voltage booster, rated for unheated outdoor enclosures on surveillance, ITS traffic and oil and gas sites.

Four 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports deliver IEEE 802.3af/at PoE at up to 30 W per port, and a fifth 10/100/1000Base-T port carries the uplink. Ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex with auto MDI over Cat.5/5E cable to 100 m. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 10 Gbps backplane with an 8K MAC address table and a 4 Mbit packet buffer, with jumbo frame support for large video packets. There is no management interface, so the switch is working as soon as power is applied.

Power arrives on redundant 12 to 36 V DC inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, so a second supply can take over, and the switch draws up to 145 W at full PoE load. Reverse polarity and overload current protection are built in, with surge protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC. One relay output gives a power failure warning. Where the cabinet already has a 48 V DC supply, the LNP-0500G-T is the matching model.

The LNP-0500G-24-T runs fanless from -40 °C to 75 °C in an IP30 metal case, with DIN-rail and wall mounting included, and is tested to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certified, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and covers it with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-0500G-24 is the standard temperature model, and the LNP-0500G-bt-24-T raises each port to 90 W PoE++ on a 12 to 55 V DC input.
