Antaira LNP-0500G-T 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch with 4x PoE+ and -40 to 75 °C

High-resolution IP cameras and current wireless access points can push more traffic than a Fast Ethernet port carries, and they still need power on the same cable. The LNP-0500G-T is the extended temperature model in the Antaira LNP-0500G series: a five-port Gigabit industrial unmanaged PoE switch for quick network expansion at the edge of a site, rated for unheated outdoor cabinets on surveillance, ITS traffic, oil and gas and mining projects.

Four 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports deliver IEEE 802.3af/at PoE at up to 30 W per port, and a fifth 10/100/1000Base-T port carries the uplink. Ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex with auto MDI, over Cat.5/5E cable to 100 m. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 10 Gbps backplane, with an 8K MAC address table, a 4 Mbit packet buffer and 10 KB jumbo frame support for large video packets. There is nothing to set up: traffic flows as soon as power is applied.

Power arrives on redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, so a second supply can take over if the first fails. Reverse polarity and overload current protection are built in, with surge protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC. One relay output gives a power failure warning to a PLC or alarm panel. For a 12 to 36 V DC cabinet, the LNP-0500G-24-T offers the same ports with a voltage booster.

The LNP-0500G-T runs fanless from -40 °C to 75 °C in an IP30 metal case, with DIN-rail and wall mounting included, and is tested to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certified, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and covers it with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-0500G is the standard temperature model, and the LNP-0500G-bt-T raises each port to 90 W PoE++.
