Antaira LNP-0500G 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switches with 4x PoE+ and Extended Temperature Options

Adding a few high-resolution IP cameras or a new wireless access point to a site is often a matter of finding power and a Gigabit port in the nearest cabinet. The Antaira LNP-0500G series is built for that kind of quick expansion: a five-port Gigabit industrial unmanaged PoE switch with four PoE+ ports and one uplink, in a slim IP30 metal case for a DIN rail.

Every LNP-0500G shares the same design. Four 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports deliver IEEE 802.3af/at PoE at up to 30 W per port, and a fifth 10/100/1000Base-T port links back to the network over Cat.5/5E cable to 100 m. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 10 Gbps backplane with an 8K MAC address table, a 4 Mbit packet buffer and 10 KB jumbo frames, so all five ports run at full Gigabit rate with no set-up, and Cat.5/5E cabling to each camera is enough. Redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs on a 6-contact terminal block let a second supply take over, with reverse polarity and overload current protection, surge protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC.

The series comes in two temperature grades. The LNP-0500G is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated or indoor cabinets. The LNP-0500G-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures. Ports, power and approvals match, so the choice comes down to whether the cabinet is heated or exposed to the weather. For a 12 to 36 V DC supply the LNP-0500G-24 series keeps the same layout, and the LNP-0500G-bt series raises each port to 90 W PoE++.

Antaira lists the LNP-0500G series as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certified, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and tests it to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. One relay output gives a power failure warning to a PLC or alarm panel, and both models carry Antaira’s 5-year warranty. Antaira names security surveillance, ITS traffic monitoring, oil and gas, mining, power and utility facility management, water and wastewater treatment and automated production lines as typical homes for these Gigabit PoE+ switches.
