Antaira LNP-0500G-bt-T 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged PoE++ Switch with 4x PoE++ (180W) and -40 to 75 °C

PTZ cameras with heaters, multi-radio access points and small edge devices can need far more than the 30 W a PoE+ port provides. The LNP-0500G-bt-T is the extended temperature model in the Antaira LNP-0500G-bt series: a five-port Gigabit industrial unmanaged PoE++ switch that delivers IEEE 802.3bt power to four devices, rated for unheated outdoor cabinets on surveillance, ITS traffic, oil and gas and mining projects.

Four 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports deliver IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ at up to 90 W per port and remain compatible with 802.3af and 802.3at devices, within a 180 W PoE budget. A fifth 10/100/1000Base-T port carries the uplink. If the load exceeds the budget, port priority runs from port one down to port four, and a DIP switch turns PoE on or off by port. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 10 Gbps backplane, with an 8K MAC address table, a 1 Mbit packet buffer and 10 KB jumbo frames, so there is nothing to set up.

Power arrives on redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, and Antaira recommends a supply of at least 53 V for full 802.3bt output. The switch itself draws 5 W, with reverse polarity and overload current protection built in. One relay output, rated 24 V DC at 1 A, gives a power failure warning. For a 12 to 55 V DC supply, the LNP-0500G-bt-24-T is the matching model.

The LNP-0500G-bt-T runs fanless from -40 °C to 75 °C in an IP30 metal case, with DIN-rail and wall mounting included, and is tested to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists it as UL 61010-1 certified, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and covers it with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-0500G-bt is the standard temperature model, and the LNP-0500G-T offers 30 W PoE+ where devices need less power.
