Antaira LNP-0800G 8-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switches with 8x PoE+ (240W) and Extended Temperature Options

A switch that lists eight PoE+ ports does not always have the power to run all eight at 30 W together, and the shortfall usually shows up only once the last device is connected. The Antaira LNP-0800G series avoids that with a 240 W PoE budget: industrial unmanaged PoE+ switches with eight gigabit ports, all of them PoE+, on a 16 Gbps switching fabric in a slim IP30 metal case for a DIN rail.

Every LNP-0800G switch has eight 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports, every one with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 16 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC address table, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and a 4 Mbit memory buffer, so the switches pass traffic and power devices with no set-up. Power arrives on 48 to 55 V DC redundant inputs on a removable terminal block. The 240 W PoE budget is enough to run all eight ports at the full 30 W at the same time. One relay output gives a power failure warning, and antaira builds in high EFT and ESD protection, with reverse polarity and overload current protection on the input.

The series comes in two temperature builds. The LNP-0800G is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 65 °C, for heated or indoor cabinets. The LNP-0800G-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C, for unheated outdoor enclosures and other sites that see hard frosts. Both share the same ports, power input and PoE budget. The standard build is rated to 65 °C rather than 70 °C, so the -T build, rated to 75 °C, is also the choice for warm cabinets that run close to the limit.

Antaira names factory automation, ITS (including on-vehicle), solar and security among the applications. The LNP-0800G series is housed in an IP30 metal case for DIN-rail mounting, with wall-mount hardware included, and is rated for shock to IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration to IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira lists the series as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certified, with CE and FCC marks and RoHS compliance, and both builds carry Antaira’s 5-year warranty. In practice, the choice between the two builds comes down to the coldest temperature the installation will see.
