Antaira LNP-0802-M-24 8-Port 10/100 Unmanaged Industrial PoE Switch with 6x PoE+, 2x 100FX SC Multi-mode Fibre and 12-36V DC

A fibre run between buildings or along a long cable route, PoE+ power for devices at the far end, and only a 12 or 24 V DC supply in the cabinet is an awkward combination for most switches. The LNP-0802-M-24 is the multi-mode, standard temperature build in the Antaira LNP-0802-24 series: an 8-port unmanaged PoE+ switch with six PoE+ copper ports and two 100Base-FX multi-mode SC fibre ports, up to 2 km. Antaira positions the series for mobile PoE applications and other low-voltage power environments.

It has six 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30 W each, plus two 100Base-FX multi-mode SC fibre ports, up to 2 km at 1310 nm. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward, on a 1 Gbps switching fabric with a 2K MAC address table, IEEE 802.3x flow control, auto MDI/MDI-X and broadcast storm protection. There is nothing to set up: traffic flows as soon as the switch is powered.

Power arrives on 12 to 36 V DC redundant inputs on a removable terminal block, and a built-in voltage booster lifts that to a full 48 V DC PoE supply. Antaira gives full-load consumption as 145 W at 12 V DC and 200 W at 24 V DC, so the usable PoE power depends on input voltage. One relay output gives a port break alarm to a PLC or alarm panel. Surge protection to 2,000 V DC, ESD protection to 6,000 V DC, reverse polarity and overload protection are built in.

The LNP-0802-M-24 operates from -10 °C to 70 °C in an IP30 aluminium case for DIN-rail mounting, with an optional wall-mount kit. Shock and vibration are rated to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2 certified, with CE and FCC marks and RoHS compliance, and it is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-0802-M-24-T is the same switch rated -40 °C to 75 °C, the LNP-0802-S3-24-T uses single-mode fibre for runs up to 30 km, and the LNP-0802C-SFP-24 swaps the fixed fibre for gigabit combo ports.
