Antaira LNP-2004G-SFP 20-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Network Switches with 16x PoE+ (240W), 4x SFP and Extended Temperature Options

The Antaira LNP-2004G-SFP series is a family of unmanaged industrial PoE switches with 16 Gigabit PoE+ ports at up to 30 W each, four 100/1000 SFP slots and a shared 240 W budget, plus redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs and a power-failure relay. The LNP-2004G-SFP series suits security video surveillance, GigE machine vision, process control and intelligent transportation networks.

  • 16 PoE+ Ports Plus Four SFP: Sixteen Gigabit PoE+ RJ45 ports at up to 30 W each, with four dual-rate 100/1000 SFP slots for rings and spurs.
  • Shared 240 W PoE Budget: The budget covers eight ports at the full 30 W, or all 16 ports at an average of 15 W each.
  • 40 Gbps Unmanaged Switching: Store-and-forward switching on a 40 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC table and 9.6 KB jumbo frames, passing traffic once powered.
  • Redundant DC With Relay: Dual 48 to 55 V DC inputs on a 6-pin terminal block, with a relay output that warns when a supply fails.
  • Two Temperature Grades: Standard models run from -10 °C to 65 °C and -T models from -40 °C to 75 °C, in an IP30 metal case.

LNP-2004G-SFP Description

The largest camera cabinets on a site are often also its fibre junctions, sitting on a ring and passing links on to smaller cabinets further out. The Antaira LNP-2004G-SFP series is built for those junctions: an unmanaged industrial PoE switch with 16 PoE+ ports and four SFP slots on one DIN rail, so the cabinet needs no separate fibre switch. Concentrating PoE and fibre in one unit leaves more room for supplies and termination in the cabinet, and fewer separate devices to maintain over the life of the site.

Every LNP-2004G-SFP shares the same design. The 16 10/100/1000Base-T(X) RJ45 ports follow IEEE 802.3at at up to 30 W per port, and the four dual-rate 100/1000 SFP slots take multi-mode or single-mode transceivers, so a ring pair and two further runs can each be sized to their distance. The 240 W PoE budget is shared, covering eight ports at the full 30 W or all 16 at an average of 15 W. Switching is store-and-forward on a 40 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC table, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and a 4 Mbit buffer, with nothing to configure. Power arrives on redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs on a 6-pin terminal block, with a supply-failure relay, a slow-blow fuse, reverse polarity protection and high EFT and ESD protection.

The series comes in two temperature grades. The LNP-2004G-SFP is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 65 °C for heated or indoor cabinets. The LNP-2004G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated enclosures exposed to outdoor temperatures. For two SFP slots instead of four, the LNP-1802G-SFP series is the closer fit, and the LNX-2004G-SFP series keeps the same layout without PoE.

Antaira names security video surveillance, GigE machine vision, process control automation and intelligent transportation as typical applications for the LNP-2004G-SFP series. Four SFP slots let one switch hold a ring pair and two spur links at the same time. Both builds sit in an IP30 metal case for DIN rail or wall mounting, with shock and vibration ratings to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6, UL 61010-1 certification and FCC, CE and RoHS marks. Antaira backs them with its 5-year warranty, and our team can help plan the PoE load and choose SFP modules for each fibre run.

Official Antaira UK Distributor

Things Embedded is an official Antaira UK distributor, supplying the LNP-2004G-SFP series for UK security, machine vision and transport programmes. Within the Antaira range, the LNP-1802G-SFP series has two SFP slots instead of four for cabinets with a single uplink, and the LNP-2602G-SFP series moves to a 19-inch rack with 24 PoE+ ports and a 720 W budget.

The LNP-2004G-SFP series sits among our PoE switches for industrial sites, our unmanaged industrial switches and our Ethernet switch range. Where a large DIN-rail cabinet powers up to 16 devices and acts as a fibre junction for the cabinets around it, this is the Antaira series to specify, with the -T build for unheated enclosures. Choose the standard build for heated or indoor panels.
