RJ45 plugs work loose under vibration and let in dust and liquid, which is why switches mounted on machines or outside a cabinet often need screw-locking connectors and a sealed case. The LNX-0500-M12-67-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNX-0500-M12-67 series: an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch with M12 connectors in an IP67 housing, rated -40 °C to 75 °C.
It has five 10/100Base-T(X) Fast Ethernet ports on 4-pin D-coded female M12 connectors, with auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X. Switching is store-and-forward on a non-blocking fabric with a 1K MAC address table and IEEE 802.3x flow control, and there is no management interface, so the switch passes traffic as soon as it is powered. Fast Ethernet suits the controllers, drives and sensors that typically connect at machine level.
Power arrives on redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs through one 5-pin A-coded male M12 connector, with reverse polarity and overload current protection. The LNX-0500-M12-67-T draws 500 mW, and Antaira tests it to IEC 61000-4 immunity standards covering ESD, EFT and surge. Antaira offers M12 to RJ45 and M12 power cables as accessories.
The housing is IP67 rated plastic for DIN rail or wall mounting, with shock and vibration ratings to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira describes it for industrial applications subject to high vibration and shock, in environments containing dust or liquid or laden with gas. It lists UL 61010-1 certification with FCC, CE and RoHS marks and carries Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-0500-M12-67 is the same switch rated -10 °C to 70 °C, the LNX-0800-M12-67 offers eight M12 ports, and the LNP-0500G-M12-67-T adds Gigabit speed and PoE+.
