Antaira LNP-0500G-M12-67-T 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged M12 Ethernet Switch with 4x PoE+ (120W), IP67 and Extended Temperature

On moving vehicles and in exposed transport equipment, RJ45 plugs can shake loose and open ports let in dust and water. The LNP-0500G-M12-67-T is a five-port Gigabit unmanaged PoE switch from Antaira with M12 connectors and an IP67 rating, designed to keep cameras and devices connected through humidity, dirt, dust, shock, vibration, heat and cold on vehicle, transportation and security applications.

Four 10/100/1000Base-T M12 X-coded ports deliver IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port, and a fifth Gigabit M12 X-coded port carries the uplink. Screw-locking M12 connectors hold their seal and contact under vibration where an RJ45 plug may not. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 10 Gbps backplane with a 2K MAC address table, a 1 Mbit packet buffer and 9 KB jumbo frames, so there is nothing to set up. Where no PoE is needed, the LNX-0500-M12-67-T offers five Fast Ethernet M12 ports, and the LNP-0800G-M12-67-24-T raises the count to eight PoE+ ports.

Power arrives on one M12 A-coded connector at 48 to 56 V DC. The PoE budget depends on input voltage: Antaira gives 120 W at 56 V DC and 100 W at 48 V DC, so at 48 V DC the budget typically covers three full 30 W devices and a lighter fourth. The switch itself draws 5 W at 48 V DC without PoE load, with reverse polarity and overload current protection built in.

The LNP-0500G-M12-67-T runs fanless from -40 °C to 75 °C in a sealed IP67 housing and mounts on a DIN rail or a wall. Antaira lists railway compliance with EN 50155, EN 50121-3-2 and EN 50121-4, tests it to EN 60068-2-6 vibration and EN 60068-2-27 shock, and quotes an MTBF of 546,613 hours at 25 °C. Safety is to UL 62368-1 (MET) and EN 62368-1 (LVD), with FCC and CE marks, TAA and NDAA compliance and Antaira’s 5-year warranty.
