A cabinet with a handful of Gigabit devices still needs a way back to the network core, and when that run is long or passes heavy electrical plant, fibre is the safer choice. The LNX-0601G-SFP is the standard temperature build in the Antaira LNX-0601G-SFP series: an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch with five copper Gigabit ports and one SFP slot, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated or indoor cabinets.
Five 10/100/1000Base-T(X) RJ45 ports support auto MDI/MDI-X, and the dual-rate 100/1000 SFP slot takes whichever transceiver suits the fibre type and distance. Switching is store-and-forward with an 8K MAC address table, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control. IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet lowers port power on idle links, and Antaira says it can cut consumption by 50% or more. There is nothing to set up.
Power arrives on redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs on a removable 6-pin terminal block, with reverse polarity and overload current protection, and the LNX-0601G-SFP draws 6.9 W. Antaira rates surge protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC, and one relay output warns maintainers when a supply fails.
The switch sits in an IP30 metal case for DIN rail mounting, with wall mounting as an option and shock and vibration ratings to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira describes the series for harsh outdoor weather and industrial applications, lists UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certification with FCC, CE and RoHS marks, and covers it with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-0601AG-SFP-T is the same switch rated -40 °C to 75 °C, the LNX-0501G-SFP has four RJ45 ports and an SFP slot, and the LNX-0702G-SFP adds a second SFP slot.
