Antaira LNX-0602-ST-M 6-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Industrial Network Switch with 2x 100FX ST Multi-mode Fibre

A field cabinet often sits further from the control room than copper Ethernet can reach, so the link back has to run on fibre. The LNX-0602-ST-M is the standard temperature multi-mode ST build in the Antaira LNX-0602 series: an industrial unmanaged Ethernet switch with copper ports for local devices and two fibre ports for the run back to the network.

It has four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with auto negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, plus two 100Base-FX multi-mode fibre ports with ST connectors, rated up to 2 km on 50/125 to 62.5/125 µm fibre at 1310 nm. Two fibre ports let the switch sit in a chain of cabinets, with one link upstream and one onward. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward, on a 1.0 Gbps switching fabric with a 2K MAC address table and IEEE 802.3x flow control, so there is nothing to set up.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, with reverse polarity protection and a slow-blow fuse against overload, and the LNX-0602-ST-M draws 7.5 W. Antaira builds in broadcast storm protection, surge protection to 2,000 V DC, ESD protection to 6,000 V DC and one relay output that alerts engineers when a power failure or port break occurs.

The LNX-0602-ST-M operates from -10 °C to 70 °C, which suits heated or indoor cabinets and control panels. The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail, with wall mounting as an option. Shock, vibration and free-fall testing follow IEC 60068-2-27, IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-32. Antaira lists UL Class 1, Division 2 certification and UL 508, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and the switch is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-0602-ST-M-T is the same switch rated -40 °C to 75 °C, the LNX-0602-M uses SC connectors, and the LNP-0602-ST-M adds PoE+ on the copper ports.
