Antaira LNX-0602 6-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Industrial Network Switches with 2x 100FX SC Multi-mode Fibre and Extended Temperature Options

Two fibre ports change what a small switch can do. With one link upstream and one onward, a row of field cabinets can be chained together on fibre, each with its own copper ports for local devices, and no run is limited by copper’s 100 m reach. The Antaira LNX-0602 series is built around that layout: a six-port industrial unmanaged Ethernet switch with four Fast Ethernet RJ45 ports and two 100Base-FX fibre ports, in a slim IP30 metal case for a DIN rail.

Every LNX-0602 shares the same switching design. The four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports support auto negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, and switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 1.0 Gbps fabric with a 2K MAC table and IEEE 802.3x flow control. The fibre ports run at 1310 nm, multi-mode up to 2 km on 50/125 to 62.5/125 µm fibre or single-mode up to 30 km on 9/125 to 10/125 µm fibre. Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs, the switch draws 7.5 W, and Antaira adds broadcast storm protection, surge protection to 2,000 V DC, ESD protection to 6,000 V DC and a relay output for power failure and port break alarms.

The series offers eight builds, chosen by connector, fibre mode and temperature grade. With SC connectors, the LNX-0602-M is multi-mode to 2 km and the LNX-0602-M-T is the same build rated -40 °C to 75 °C, while the LNX-0602-S3 is single-mode to 30 km and the LNX-0602-S3-T is its extended temperature twin. With ST connectors, the LNX-0602-ST-M and LNX-0602-ST-M-T cover multi-mode links, and the LNX-0602-ST-S3 and LNX-0602-ST-S3-T cover single-mode runs. Pick SC or ST to match the patch panels already on site, and multi-mode or single-mode to match the fibre and distance.

Standard builds are rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated or indoor cabinets, and the -T builds run from -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated and outdoor enclosures. All eight LNX-0602 models mount on a DIN rail, with wall mounting as an option, and follow IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration testing. Antaira lists UL Class 1, Division 2 certification and UL 508, with FCC and CE marks, and covers the series with its 5-year warranty. The LNX-0602 series is a good fit wherever a Fast Ethernet cabinet needs a fibre link in and a fibre link out.
