Antaira LNX-1204G-SFP-T 12-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Network Switch with 4x SFP and -40 to 75 °C

Some cabinets act as a fibre hub, gathering links from several remote enclosures as well as serving local devices. The LNX-1204G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNX-1204G-SFP series: an industrial gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switch with eight copper ports and four fibre slots.

It has eight 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports with auto negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, and four dual-rate SFP slots that take 100 or 1000 Mbps transceivers, so the fibre mode, connector and reach follow the modules fitted. Four fibre slots let the switch link several remote cabinets or devices on fibre at once. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 24 Gbps switching fabric, with an 8K MAC address table, a 4 Mbit buffer, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control, so the switch passes traffic with no set-up.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, and the LNX-1204G-SFP-T draws 10 W. Antaira builds in high EFT and ESD protection against unregulated voltage, reverse polarity protection and overload current protection, and one relay output rated 24 V DC, 1 A signals a power failure to a PLC or alarm panel. Antaira names power and utility, water and wastewater treatment, oil, gas and mining, process control automation, security access control and intelligent transportation systems among its applications.

The LNX-1204G-SFP-T operates from -40 °C to 75 °C, which suits unheated and outdoor cabinets where winter lows and summer peaks go beyond a standard rating. The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail or a wall, with the mounting hardware included. Shock, vibration and free-fall testing follow IEC 60068-2-27, IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-32. Antaira lists UL 61010-1 certification, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and the switch is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-1204G-SFP is the same switch rated -10 °C to 70 °C, the LNP-1204G-SFP-T adds PoE+, and the LNX-1204G-10G-SFP moves two uplinks to 10G SFP+.
