Antaira LNX-1600-T 16-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch with -40 to 75 °C

A control panel full of Fast Ethernet devices can run out of switch ports long before it runs out of DIN rail, and stacking small switches adds wiring and power feeds. The LNX-1600-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNX-1600 series: an industrial unmanaged Ethernet switch with 16 copper ports in one IP30 unit.

It has 16 RJ45 ports at 10/100Base-TX with auto negotiation, full or half duplex and auto MDI/MDI-X, which Antaira positions for applications that demand large port counts in a confined area. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 3.2 Gbps switching fabric, with a 16K MAC address table, a 4 Mbit packet buffer, 1664-byte frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control, so the switch forwards traffic as soon as it is powered.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, and the LNX-1600-T draws only 3.4 W. Antaira builds in high EFT and ESD protection against unregulated voltage, with reverse polarity and overload current protection on the input and a relay contact rated 24 V DC, 1 A. Antaira names power and utility, water and wastewater treatment, oil, gas and mining, process control automation, security access control and intelligent transportation systems among its applications.

The LNX-1600-T operates from -40 °C to 75 °C, which suits unheated and outdoor cabinets where winter lows and summer peaks go beyond a standard rating. The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail or a wall, with the mounting hardware included. Shock, vibration and free-fall testing follow IEC 60068-2-27, IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-32. Antaira lists UL 61010-1 certification, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and the switch is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-1600 is the same switch rated -10 °C to 65 °C, and the LNX-1600G-T moves all 16 ports to gigabit.
