Antaira LNX-1600G-T 16-Port Gigabit Unmanaged DIN Rail Ethernet Switch with -40 to 75 °C

Camera systems and GigE vision cells soon need more gigabit ports than a small switch offers, and splitting them across two units adds wiring. The LNX-1600G-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNX-1600G series: an industrial gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switch with 16 copper ports in one IP30 unit.

It has 16 RJ45 ports at 10/100/1000Base-T with auto negotiation, full or half duplex and auto MDI/MDI-X. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 32 Gbps switching fabric, enough for all 16 ports at gigabit line rate, with an 8K MAC address table, a 4 Mbit buffer, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control. Jumbo frame support suits GigE machine vision and video streams, and the switch forwards traffic with no set-up.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-pin terminal block, and the LNX-1600G-T draws 14.4 W. Reverse polarity protection and a slow-blow fuse guard the input, Antaira builds in high EFT and ESD protection, and a relay rated 24 V DC, 1 A warns of a power redundancy failure. Antaira names security video surveillance, GigE machine vision, process control automation and intelligent transportation among its applications.

The LNX-1600G-T operates from -40 °C to 75 °C, which suits unheated and outdoor cabinets where winter lows and summer peaks go beyond a standard rating. The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail or a wall. Shock, vibration and free-fall testing follow IEC 60068-2-27, IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-32. Antaira lists UL 61010-1 certification, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and the switch is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-1600G is the same switch rated -10 °C to 65 °C, the LNP-1600G-T adds PoE+, and the LMX-1600G-T adds managed switching.
