Arestech PPC-1564 15" Fanless Panel PCs with Intel Celeron J6412 and Front IP54

Line-side HMIs and SCADA clients are where operators spend most of a shift, so the screen has to read clearly at arm’s length and the computer behind it has to run for years without attention. The Arestech PPC-1564 series is built for that job: a family of 15″ fanless panel PCs on the Intel Celeron J6412, with an SECC steel front panel sealed to IP54 and an aluminium back cover.

The Intel Celeron J6412 is an Elkhart Lake processor running at up to 2.60 GHz, with two SO-DIMM sockets for dual-channel DDR4 3200 memory up to 32 GB. It suits HMI runtimes, kiosk software and machine dashboards where low power and steady running matter more than raw processing. Storage is an internal 2.5″ SSD plus an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe x2 or SATA, firmware TPM is built in, and the operating system can be Windows 11 IoT or Professional, or Linux. Every PPC-1564 has its connections along the bottom edge: two GbE ports on Intel I211-AT controllers, two HDMI 2.0 outputs at up to 4096 x 2160, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a line-out audio jack. Serial is not fitted as standard; two RS-232/422/485 ports are available as an option where PLCs or serial instruments need connecting. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot takes an optional 4G LTE or Wi-Fi module.

The PPC-1564 series offers the PPC-1564P with projected capacitive touch, a 7 Mohs surface and 90% transparency for bare-finger use, and the PPC-1564R with 5-wire resistive touch, a 3 Mohs surface and 80% transparency, which typically suits gloves or a stylus. Both carry the same 15 inch XGA LCD at 1024 x 768 in 4:3, with 350 nits brightness, a 2500:1 contrast ratio and 176° viewing angles. The PPC-1512 series offers the same 15″ screens on the Intel Core i5-1235U, adding 2.5GbE, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and a serial port as standard.

Power is 12 to 36 V DC on a 2-pin terminal block with AT and ATX modes, and an AC adapter is available as an option. The PPC-1564 panel PCs are fanless, operate from -20 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, non-condensing, and are tested to IEC 60068-2-64 at 1.5 Grms vibration and IEC 60068-2-27 at 15 G shock, with CE and FCC Class A marks. They mount on VESA or into a panel cut-out, and Arestech lists HMI, machine-mounted, kiosk and industrial automation applications.
