Arestech PPC-664R 6.5″ Resistive Fanless Panel PC with Intel Celeron J6412 and Front IP54

Small machines often need only a few screens of controls mounted on the equipment itself, and the operator panel has to fit where space at the machine is tight. For gloved hands or a stylus, pressure-based 5-wire resistive touch is usually the safer choice. The Arestech PPC-664R is a 6.5″ fanless panel PC on the Intel Celeron J6412 with a 640 x 480 display and a front panel sealed to IP54.

The Intel Celeron J6412 runs at up to 2.60 GHz with dual-channel DDR4 3200 up to 32 GB, which suits HMI runtimes, kiosk software and dashboards where low power matters more than raw processing. Storage is a 2.5″ SSD plus an M.2 2280 socket with PCIe x2 or SATA. On the PPC-664R, the 6.5 inch display is a 4:3 LCD at 640 x 480 with 800 nits brightness and a 600:1 contrast ratio, bright enough for well-lit machine halls. The 5-wire resistive touch screen has a 3 Mohs surface and 80% transparency.

Two GbE ports on Intel I211-AT controllers sit alongside two HDMI 2.0 outputs, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and line-out audio. Serial is optional, with two RS-232/422/485 ports available for PLCs or instruments, and a full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot takes an optional 4G LTE or Wi-Fi module. Where a larger resistive screen on the same processor suits the layout, the PPC-1064RW brings a 10.1″ WXGA widescreen and the PPC-1264R a 12.1″ 4:3 XGA screen.

Power is 12 to 36 V DC on a 2-pin terminal block with AT and ATX modes. The PPC-664R is fanless, runs from -20 °C to 60 °C and is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and IEC 60068-2-27 shock, with CE and FCC Class A marks. Its SECC steel front panel is rated IP54 against dust and splashing water, and it mounts on VESA or in a panel cut-out. We supply it configured, with Windows 11 IoT or Linux installed, and tested.
