Arestech PPC-S1012 10.1" WXGA Industrial HMI Panel PCs with Intel Core i5-1235U and Stainless Front IP66/IP69K

On a small machine HMI the screen is often the only part of the computer the cleaning crew reaches, so the front face matters more than the back. The Arestech PPC-S1012 series answers that with a true flat 304 stainless steel front panel, 316 optional, sealed to IP66 and IP69K, over an SECC steel back cover. These 10.1 inch industrial HMI panel PCs are fanless and mount in a panel cut-out or on VESA 100, so the sealed face meets the washdown and the rear stays behind the panel.

Every PPC-S1012 shares the same build. The Intel Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.40 GHz, with a Core i3-1215UE option, and takes two DDR4-3200 SO-DIMMs for up to 64 GB, with firmware TPM and an optional TPM 2.0 module. Storage is a 2.5-inch SSD bay plus an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe Gen 4 x4 or SATA. Two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-V controllers, two HDMI 2.0 outputs, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one RS-232/422/485 port sit on the bottom edge, with two more serial ports optional, and a Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot and an M.2 2230 E-Key socket take optional 4G LTE and Wi-Fi modules. Windows 11 IoT or Professional and Linux are supported.

The PPC-S1012 series comes in two touch versions on the same 10.1″ WXGA LCD at 1280 x 800 (16:10), 500 nits and 800:1 contrast. The PPC-S1012PW uses projected capacitive touch with a 7 Mohs surface and 90% transparency for light, bare-finger operation. The PPC-S1012RW uses 5-wire resistive touch with a 3 Mohs surface and 80% transparency, which typically suits operators wearing gloves. Both share 170° horizontal and vertical viewing angles and a 50,000-hour backlight MTBF.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on a two-pin terminal block with AT and ATX modes. The PPC-S1012 panel PCs operate from -20 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, are tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and IEC 60068-2-27 shock, and carry CE and FCC Class A marks, with an optional 24 V, 120 W adapter for mains installs. The IP66/IP69K rating applies at the front, and the stainless face pairs with a steel rear, which suits installs where the back sits inside a cabinet or machine. Typical uses are small machine HMIs, CNC machines and food and beverage equipment.
