ASRock Industrial 4X4 BOX 7000U-D5 Series AMD Ryzen 7000U 4x4 NUC PCs with USB4

Space behind a monitor, under a counter or inside a kiosk is often the deciding factor in which computer fits, and a compact design still needs enough compute and display output for the job. The ASRock Industrial 4X4 BOX 7000U-D5 series answers that with small form factor industrial PCs measuring 110.0 x 117.5 x 47.85 mm and weighing about 1 kg, built around AMD Ryzen 7000U-Series processors with AMD Radeon Graphics and active fan cooling.

Both models in the 4X4 BOX 7000U-D5 series share one board. Memory is DDR5 4800 in two 262-pin SO-DIMM sockets, up to 64 GB in dual channel. Two USB4 ports with DisplayPort 1.4a, HDMI 2.1 at up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz and a DisplayPort 1.4a output give four displays in total. Networking pairs a Realtek RTL8125BG 2.5GbE port with a Realtek RTL8111EPV GbE port that supports DASH remote management, and an M.2 Key E socket comes fitted with a Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 module. Storage is an M.2 Key M socket with PCIe Gen4 x4 for an NVMe SSD, plus a SATA3 port.

There are two processor options. The 4X4 BOX-7735U/D5 uses the AMD Ryzen 7 7735U with eight cores and a maximum speed of up to 4.75 GHz, for heavier multi-display and multi-application work. The 4X4 BOX-7535U/D5 uses the AMD Ryzen 5 7535U with six cores at up to 4.55 GHz, for kiosks, signage and office automation where cost per unit matters. Apart from the processor, the two models share the same memory, storage, display and network layout, so software images, mounting brackets and cabling can stay the same across a mixed rollout, and the choice comes down to how much compute each site actually needs.

These small form factor industrial PCs run from 0 °C to 40 °C, power from a 19 V adapter with AT or ATX power-on, and include TPM 2.0, a watchdog and Windows 10 and 11 support. The series carries CE and FCC compliance, and ASRock Industrial supplies a VESA bracket so a unit can mount on the back of a display. In practice the 4X4 BOX 7000U-D5 series suits retail kiosks, digital signage, meeting rooms, reception desks and light edge gateway roles in offices and indoor plant areas.
