ASRock Industrial 4X4 BOX-7735U/D5 AMD Ryzen 7 7735U 4×4 NUC PC with Dual USB4 and 2.5GbE

Meeting rooms, multi-screen kiosks and control desks often need quick, responsive multi-screen output from a computer that has to hide behind a display. The 4X4 BOX-7735U/D5 from ASRock Industrial fits that brief with an eight-core AMD processor in a case 110.0 x 117.5 x 47.85 mm. It is the Ryzen 7 model in the 4X4 BOX 7000U-D5 series of small form factor industrial PCs.

The processor is an AMD Ryzen 7 7735U with eight cores and a maximum speed of up to 4.75 GHz, with AMD Radeon Graphics. Two 262-pin SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB of dual channel DDR5 4800, which gives room for several applications, browser-based dashboards or a small virtual machine alongside the main workload.

Display output is HDMI 2.1 at up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz, a DisplayPort 1.4a output and two front USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort 1.4a, for up to four screens. The USB4 ports also suit fast external storage or docks, alongside a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port and two USB 2.0 ports. Networking is a Realtek RTL8125BG 2.5GbE port and a Realtek RTL8111EPV GbE port with DASH for remote management, plus a fitted Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 module. Storage is an NVMe SSD on M.2 Key M with PCIe Gen4 x4 plus a SATA3 port, and power comes from a 19 V adapter.

The 4X4 BOX-7735U/D5 is rated from 0 °C to 40 °C, uses active fan cooling in a plastic case and mounts on the back of a display with the supplied VESA bracket. TPM 2.0, a hardware watchdog and CE and FCC compliance come as standard, and Windows 10 and 11 are supported. The 4X4 BOX-7535U/D5 offers the same I/O with a six-core Ryzen 5, while the 4X4 BOX-7735U/D5 is the small form factor industrial PC for heavier loads.
