AI BOX-A395 Overview
Some AI workloads need more memory and graphics than a small edge computer carries, yet must run on site. The ASRock Industrial AI BOX-A395 is aimed at that gap: an upright, aluminium-housed edge AI computer with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and up to 128 GB of fast LPDDR5X memory.
The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (Strix Halo) has 16 cores and 32 threads with boost up to 5.1 GHz, Radeon 8060S graphics with 40 compute units and an NPU rated up to 50 TOPS; AMD quotes up to 126 TOPS across the whole processor. Memory is LPDDR5X at up to 8000 MT/s, soldered on board and offered as 64 GB or 128 GB, so the AI BOX-A395 can keep large models and datasets in memory. Two M.2 M key sockets on x4 PCIe Gen4 take NVMe storage with RAID 0/1, and an M.2 heatsink comes in the box. Windows 11 and Linux are supported.
Networking pairs a Marvell AQC113 10GbE port with a Realtek RTL8125BG 2.5GbE port. The rear carries two HDMI 2.1 outputs up to 8K at 60 Hz, two USB4 ports and one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, each with DisplayPort 2.1 output, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, mic-in and line-out, and two USB 2.0 ports sit on top. Up to four displays can run at once. The M.2 E key socket takes an optional Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 module, and two antennas are supplied.
Power is 100 to 240 V AC into an internal 400 W supply, with AT or ATX power-on. The unit is fan-cooled, rated from 0 °C to 40 °C and designed to stand upright. Redundant BIOS, an onboard TPM 2.0 chip and a watchdog timer support unattended use, and it carries CE, FCC and BSMI marks. We supply it configured and tested, with NVMe storage, the OS image and any Wi-Fi module fitted. For smaller Intel installs, the NUC BOX-358H offers a Core Ultra X7 358H in a NUC PC, and the iEP-6020E-000 brings NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX inference to a DIN rail.
